Ivana created some patterns for Halloween mosaic designs that will be part of an ongoing series with new designs for each holiday.
These patterns are for use with whole tiles in a grid with no grout gap and are designed for Morjo™ 10mm Vitreous Glass Mosaic Tile on a 12×12-inch mosaic backer.

Starting Points and Inspiration
These patterns can be modified by the user and can serve as starting points for variations.
The patterns can also be used as inspiration/insight into how you can come up with your own gridded designs.
Halloween Ghosts Mosaic
This is my absolute favorite. I think it is genius. Seriously. Notice how much personality the ghosts have. Achieving any kind of emotion or personality in such a low-resolution gridded design is nothing short of amazing. Ivana made this.
Jack-O-Lantern Mosaic
This one was also made by Ivana.
I think this is a more interesting design than one based on a more spherical pumpkin.
I like how the pumpkin has a flatter shape and is truncated on each side. The design crops the pumpkin to enlarge the face.
Cropping is an essential tool for creating strong iconic designs.
Halloween Cat Mosaic
I made this Halloween Cat pattern using one Ivana made as a starting point. I suspect that Ivana was intending to work some more on her original design, and so we might end up having two versions of this.
We certainly intend to be creating new free mosaic patterns in the near future and on an ongoing basis.
